Nowadays it is rare for Tai Lue to wear their complete traditional outfits, even on special occasions. However, they still weave exceptional textiles. Many of the scarves, wall hangings and skirts sold in Luang Prabang town are Tai Lue, as many Tai Lue villages produced cloth for the former royal families in the past.
