The notation used by Michelin maps to indicate interesting ancient stuff is a set of three circles stacked in a pyramid. We call it “the bowling balls”. That may be appropriate for a Stone Age cairn in the Outer Hebrides, but in South East Asia, a more fitting icon might be a naga or an elephant.
Angkor Archeological Park
Angkor and Angkor Wat are sometimes used interchangeably, but Angkor Wat is just one temple complex in Angkor Archeological Park, which contains many other sites. Here is a map of the whole Park and a list of all the sites.
