Vegetarian fish filet. Layers of tofu skin inside. Sea weed on the outside. Deep fried until crispy.
Vegetable fritters. No pretense here. By the way, have you noticed how East Asian vegetarians often try to pass for meat eaters, and South Asians never make any bones (ahem!) about it? There’s at least one Ph.D. paper or two in there somewhere…
